Ready to take on the World
It was bound to happen sooner or later, but somehow it always seems to be sooner. Time goes by much too fast, and suddenly a first grader somehow becomes a twelfth grader, and both the conversations and emotions start flowing deeper and deeper into what's next. If only we could freeze these moments, savor them for just a little while longer than we actually have. Sigh.
And yet, mixed in with all the emotions we also remember that they are brave, resilient, creative, gifted, and strong, and that the world they are about to enter is not ready to behold their true light just as much as you may not feel fully ready to help send that light off onto whatever new adventures now await them.
What an in-between space it all feels like.
And in that in-between space, I humbly offer my camera and creative eye to help encapsulate these moments for you. Who are they? What do they love? Where do they shine the most? I'd love to know! And I'd love to help capture that for you.
My senior sessions are very much tailored to each individual I encounter. I love to ask questions to figure out what their vibe is, as I consider what environments and camera techniques might best capture that. For instance, would we wind up out in nature somewhere, or would they enjoy a more urban setting (or both!)? And does their personality lean more towards bright and airy imagery...
...or are we perhaps breaking out my outdoor studio lighting and going more moody and dramatic?
And of course it's helpful to know going in...are they super shy and self-conscious in front of a camera (most teenagers can be!), or do they have that extra special sauce inside them that somehow helps them own any situation ha, even when all eyes are one them! :)
No matter the case, I'd love to help guide them toward some great images that they, their friends, and their family can be proud to keep and share!
—Isaiah H. (graduating senior)
I love to keep it simple — two session lengths, both all-inclusive, no hidden costs after the fact.
Two hours — $650. Room for a couple of outfits and a location or two without ever feeling rushed.
Three hours — $750. That extra hour is for when we want more looks, a second or third spot, or an idea that takes some time to explore — a hobby, a car, an instrument, something we cook up together.
Either way you'll come away with 50–75+ edited, high-resolution images that are yours to keep, print, and share however you want. Your 15 favorites get the full treatment on top of that — stray hairs, skin, all the fine detail cleaned up so they really shine. Your final gallery is also hooked up to the professional lab I use myself, marked up as little as I can manage so beautiful prints are just a few clicks away.
Note: Sessions are held within about 15 miles of downtown Franklin. Travel beyond that, location permits, or special props can add a little — I'll always tell you up front.
Let's capture who they really are! Message me below with your ideas, questions, or to check availability.
